真人版《美女與野獸》上映後風波不斷，因片中提及同性戀情節，在馬來西亞無限期延遲上映。昨（16）日在香港上映後，卻被爆料有學校因為電影內容涉及同性戀，要求家長別帶小孩去看此電影。
據港媒報導， 香港一所學校因為認為《美女與野獸》與原作有出入，刻意插入一段來福對自己性向感到疑惑，想親吻加斯頓的情節，被學校認為是在宣揚同性戀，特別發出通知信，內容提到：「神不喜悅同性戀，所以我們呼籲家長不要帶孩子或讓孩子觀看此電影。」甚至認為此舉才是引領孩子們走在正道上，到老也不會偏離，最後還加上校長的簽名。關於此消息，香港迪士尼還未作出回覆。

包括中興、大葉及逢甲等多所大學，最近不僅掀起EMBA班的企業界搶人大戰，也大力爭取知名廠商進駐育成中心。興大育成中心表示，繼大江生醫，及正瀚生技等多家業者去年第4季陸續進駐之後，佳和農化企業1月將進駐，；緊接著，台灣塔奇恩科技也預定2月進駐興大育成中心，將專注於光學、視覺辨識，及定位演算等核心技術的開發。
台灣塔奇恩表示，公司是由光學、電子，及軟硬體開發等專業人才所組成的團隊，成員擁有數十年的產品開發經驗，主要競爭力是國內所欠缺的光學、機電、軟體、硬體的整合能力，期望未來能成為1家協助機器人實現定位導航的公司。
至於去年第4季進駐興大的廠商，包括台灣優瑪、王子製藥、大江生醫、大甲永和（暫訂名稱）、正瀚生技，台灣騰訊跨媒體，及雲揚科技等多家公司。
其中，登錄興櫃的正瀚生技，主要以研發創新農業生物科技為主，專精於植物生長調節劑和特種微量元素肥料，而興大以農立校，為培育農業人才的專業學校，正瀚進駐興大希望藉由科學系統的探索農業生產中的影響產量、品質、安全和抗性等核心問題，以永續發展為基礎，藉此開發對農作物和環境友好的農科產品。
正瀚生技繼去年9月在中科中興新村高等研究園區，共斥資15億元興建營運總部暨實驗室之後，去年11月21日核准進駐興大育成中心。
興大表示，興大校本部的育成中心進駐廠商近30家，包括國際知名的台灣拜耳，其進駐合約期限至109年：另興大的中科育成中心進駐廠商共有21家。
同樣地，大葉大學創新育成中心的進駐廠商，共有20家廠商。大葉創新育成中心主任吳建一表示，1月將進駐廠商，包括養生食品及素食罐頭等2家業者；另1家寵物食品業者進駐時程，目前還在安排中，且上述進駐業者計畫與該校藥用植物與保健學系，做產學合作。此外，該校也將洽談化妝品業者進駐育成中心。
逢甲大學指出，該校育成中心的進駐廠商中，已完成育成畢業的業者包括振鋒企業、集研科技、連洋科技，及廣昱資通等83家，目前還在育成的廠商，包括展邑科技、迅聯光電，及莘茂複合材料等23家。
其中，展邑從事功能性粉體、漿料、母粒與最便宜纖維；迅聯專攻精密量測儀器販賣與技術服務；莘茂主攻奈米級纖維複合材料的環氧樹脂系統及纖維預浸材料。
